About

House and Harbor began with a box of soy wax and a passion to make the world a better place. After years of research and testing only the finest quality ingredients, our first collection was born. Hand-poured in Ludington, Michigan, we are surrounded by inspiration! As a tourist destination, we create candles that connect you to your favorite experiences, from our town and family to yours. Developing sophisticated, non-toxic, clean burning candles with eco-friendly ingredients is just the start. Our passion as a company is to serve those in need through volunteering, giving, and employment for those most vulnerable in our community.  As foster parents we desire to give to organizations that directly impact foster children and their biological families.

Only the best

Infused with essential oils and custom blended to create one of a kind premium fragrances, our oils are always phthalate-free.

Domestically grown by mid-west farmers, our 100% soy wax contains zero paraffin, additives, or dye.

Our paper cotton wicks are clean burning and free of zinc and lead

Our recycled glass jars with sustainable cork tops are perfect for repurposing.

Sustainability

We are dedicated to preserving and protecting our environment. We choose sustainable ingredients and packaging for all of our products. We are always working to minimize waste and single use items.

Making a difference

We love our community! Through our #letyourlightshine campaign you can take part in making a positive difference with your purchase. For every candle purchased a portion of the profits is donated to a cause that directly impacts foster children. Currently, we are supporting HumaniTea in their fight against human trafficking. Together we can make a difference.
